This week the blog has talked about a Vietnamese man who slept on top of his wife's grave, but later dug a tunnel to his wife's grave so he could sleep with her without worrying about the rain and the cold, but eventually he gave up on that and dug up his wife's body, put it in his bed so they could sleep together. Also how a scientist at the Bulgarian National Space Research Institute believes that there are alien spies living amongst us and frown upon our "immoral behavior" like causing global warming. There was also a bit about how the brain and some blood of Benito Mussolini was stolen from his granddaughter and put up for sale on eBay. There was a bit about how the Soviet Union created an experiment flying tank and how Intel plans on developing brain implants to control gadgets by 2020. Oh, and there was a bit about this guy who traced his lineage to find that his birth father is Charles Manson. And on a less interesting note, he's looking at new laptops.
This week my blog is talking about how good the Montreal Canadiens Goalie Carey Price has been. He has kept them in the games for the past week at least. The team has also been suffering a lot of injurys and of course this does not help. Also on the blog it was talking about how the Canadiens just played the highly ranked Washington capitals and lost 4-3 in a shootout. They blew the game with 15 seconds left. When a Canadiens player got a penalty and allowed Washington to tie the game!
This weeks blog is very recent discussing about the football team the New York Jets. The Jets after surprisingly starting the season 3-0 have now lost 6 of their last 7 and tied with Miami for second in the AFC East standings. The Jets are now entering the months of December and January and since 2000 have gone a combine 19-25 in those two months. The New York Jets this decade have gone 75-80 with 4 playoff appearance, however things may be different this season than past numbers. The Jets hired a new head football coach, Rex Ryan. They drafted and have started a rookie quarterback named Mark Sanchez. Mark this season has thrown for 1945 yards and 10 touchdown passes. The team's star running back Thomas Jones has rushed for 959 yards and 9 touchdowns. The next two games for the Jets are both on the road facing the Buffalo Bills at a nuetral site in Toronto and then facing Tampa Bay. After that they go home to face Atlanta, back on the road to face the so far undefeated Colts, and back home to face the Cincinatie Benglas. I see the Jets winning 3 out of their last 5. I don't see the Jets beating the colts however it could happen because the Colts may be resting some of their star players to get ready for the playoffs. I don't see the Jets beating the Bengals either so the Jets should finish the season at 9-8.
so this crazy lady was going on about how horrible animal production farms are. so i enlightened her on how animals are treated and why they are treeated that way. also i explained that you shouldn't generalized just because one farm is ran one way doesn't mean all farms are run that way.
This blog was about the best of the 2009 rookies playing in the NFL. The Viking's first round pick chose Percy Harvin from the University of Florida. In 11 games and receiving throws from future hall a famer Brett Favre Harvin has 693 yards, third amongst rookies. He also has 924 return yards. He may not be the best receiver in the league but Harvin makes great plays and is a major offensive weapon. After just watching the movie Blindside which is about a young African American kid who is adopted by a family. He is a very big kid for his age and is a very good football player. Well this is based on a true story about a guy named Michael Oher who this year was drafted by the Ravens. He has started every game on the offensive line. He is in discussion with Harvin for the Rookie of the Award.
So, apparently opening weekend of the Twilight saga New Moon, has a record breaking earning of over one hundred million dollars. Despite relationship rumors surrounding members of the cast, the film turned out to be a good movie and one that is enjoyed by teens as well as parents and grandparents. Hard to believe that this all came about from a dream Stephanie Myer had.
I was doing a project for Psychology and I came across a blog called "Cannibals Anonymous." The fact that there are actually cannibals out there is disturbing enough, but the fact that they have a blog to talk about their experiences and murders is just creepy. Not only do they vividly describe their murders, they talk about the tools used to do so and how to effectively kill a person to eat them. One said they use hammers, drill bits, hatchets and saws. Some keep their victims in the refrigerator in order to preserve them. I found this interesting and felt that other people might be just as creeped out or just as interested as I was.
This weeks Miley blog starts off by showing a picture of Miley's new tattoo, saying "just breath". from what the blog is saying she got this tattoo illegally, because of the fact that she is under age. Some of Miley's fans believe she that the tattoo is in memory of a nine-year-old girl called Vanessa who passed away from cystic fibrosis in 2007. Also, Miley's Florida vacation is now over and she has just landed in London. Miley and Timberland's new song "we belong to music" recently hit the web. Miley also this week suprised a cheer leading squad inviting them to one of her concerts with backstage passes.
Today on the old cute overload is a picture of a giraffe. Make that two giraffes. Thats not all!!! The bigger giraffe is licking the horn of the smaller one. Im not sure if giraffes clean their young as lions do but Im positive that is whats going on here. Hopefully the taller giraffe doesnt have some incurable oral fixation or maybe it is just acquiring a cannabalistic taste for its offspring.
A PUG IS MISSING OH MY ALLAH! Anywho a pug with only one eye went missing and they are trying to find it! :-/ This makes me sad, what if Bella went missing?! Oh my I don't want to think about it. Anyway there were also a lot of cute pug pictures posted!
